Lex Burgeson
Master Level Splankna Practitioner
Lex is a certified Master Level Splankna Practitioner who works with tweens, teens and adults. She received a Liberal Arts Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and Physical Education from Central Christian College of Kansas and served in local church ministry for nearly a decade. Lex and her husband have three children and have proudly called Colorado Springs their home since 2007.
One of Lex’s greatest desires is to walk alongside people to help them find purpose, identity, and redemption from broken places. In our world we experience great joy, but also loss, heartache, fear, anxiety, sadness, grief, and pain. People are hurt and wounded by personal choices , the choices of others, and circumstances from living in a broken world. Splankna has proven to provide an avenue for God our Healer to bring relief, freedom, and healing to the deep places of the heart. Having experienced the heartache of losing a parent and walking her child through a life-threatening illness, Lex sought out Splankna and experienced healing of her own. Splankna therapy brought renewed hope, deep healing, freedom, and complete restoration from those unsettled and painful places.
One of Lex’s passions is to help others experience the same hope and healing by allowing the Father into their brokenness that seems too overwhelming to face alone. She has a heart to see people walk in complete wholeness and their God-given identity.
Splankna therapy as designed by the Splankna Research Institute offers a Christian protocol for Mindy-Body work developed from an integration of Neuro-Emotional Technique, Thought Field Therapy (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and spiritual warfare. It provides straight forward, mechanistic treatment for alleviating a wide range of psychological and physical symptoms through both a healing and creative protocol. It attempts to address symptoms comprehensively, attending to the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the problem and its solution.
